SoundBurster-II AudioReplica(TM) is an ultrasonic sound generator used to pressurize with ultrasound - rooms, cabins, and enclosures - using four computer generated waveforms. These are spaces which cannot be pressurized with compressed air or vacuum to be tested for leaks. In addition to ultrasound, it produces an audio replica of the ultrasonic sound at the instrument. This audio sound is similar to a translated sound produced by an ultrasonic leak detector. This feature allows users to set multiple generators in the same room and know precisely from a distance how the leak path is fed by the waveform each one produces.
There is NO Other Ultrasonic Sound Generator like the patented SoundBurster-II in the world! It is microprocessor controlled generating four (4) waveforms that can be used simultaneously in the same space by multiple generators to help identify leak paths in larger spaces.
SoundBurster-II generates a precise 40 kHz Constant Wave, a 40 kHz Burst Wave, a 38 kHz to 42 kHz Linear Sweep Wave, and a 38 kHz to 42 kHz Chirp Wave. It works in conjunction with any PlantScan® Ultrasonic Leak Detector. The special waveform modes: Burst, Sweep and Chirp, help break resonances which can occur in symmetrical spaces and tanks as they act like a sound hammer. SoundBurster II is equipped with a standard 1/4-20 UNC camera mount for securing it on a rigid or flex tripod making it very easy to place, wrap (flex tripods) or hang anywhere. A special mounting kit with a choice between two strong magnets and an eyelet for hanging is also available.
